Ladylike Details In Furniture & Accessories
Hand-touched, hand-worked, and hand-applied decorative touches were seen throughout the High Point Market.
Crochet was seen in sophisticated new applications in bedding and lace applications took on new depth and dimension. Embroidery and crewel-work were seen in bedding and pillows and in creative use on upholstered goods as well.
Ribbon detailing moved beyond dainty bows and ruffles Into creative applications for pillows and inspired looks for area rugs. We also saw it in edgy looks in furniture that went well beyond girly tendencies.
Fanciful details add ladylike luxe with ruffles and bows in bedding, unique fringe looks and sophisticated pearls and bead work.
Feminine accents are taking on new meaning in both furniture and accessories.
