TREND: Blue
The calm color blue was used at the fall 2008 High Point Market in many ways. Some designers went back to their traditional roots with dusty blues and some returned to classic navys.
For others, bold peacock shades and blues with strong green undertones dominated. Whether paired with navy and lime green in a fresh young palette or used in natural, linen infused color palettes, there was no shortage of blue at High Point Market.
Accessories like area rugs and accent pillows took their cue from fashion forward spa and peacock blues. From turquoise inspired, to dark navy and everything in-between, the peacefulness of blue will be a welcome respite in any room.
